If there are any questions, please reach out to a member of the Bazaar Committee.

Eagles hockey players! This year hockey will be offered to all TBCS kids. Ice time is weekly at Norwest, Fridays 4:30-6:00pm, beginning November 1st.

Learn to skate/hockey skills and drills starts at 4:30 sharp. At 5:15 the younger skaters will leave the ice and “competitive” league players will come out.

Teams will be drafted for competitive teams from Grades 5 and up. High school students are also encouraged to play!

First try-out is November 1st. Please email courto23@hotmail.com with ages of kids you would like to register so we can be prepared with registration price and get jerseys printed earlier this season. Deadline to sign up is September 30th.

See you on the ice!

MAP Testing: Currently, Grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 are in the process of completing MAP Growth tests. This is a computer-adaptive test where if your child answers a question correctly, the next question is more challenging. If they answer incorrectly, the next one is easier. This type of assessment challenges top performers without overwhelming students whose skills are below grade level. MAP Growth uses a RIT scale to accurately measure what students know, regardless of their grade level. It also measures growth over time, allowing your child’s progress to be tracked throughout the school year and across multiple years. The MAP Growth tests include multiple choice, drag-and-drop, and other types of questions. This testing helps teachers and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child's academic growth.

School Announcements

TBCS and Cornerstone Christian School PD Days: Thank-you all for giving us, as a TBCS staff, the opportunity to take part in a few days of growth and development. Meeting together with Cornerstone Christian School (Emo) being led by Justin Cook (Edvance), we are diving deep into our foundational Biblical beliefs and learning how we can challenge each other and our students to daily understand and live it out.

Please pray that each staff member is blessed and encouraged to continue inspiring each student God has placed in our care. teachingfortransformation.org is the program we will be working through for the duration of the 24/25 school year with Cornerstone, led by Edvance.
