School Announcements
From the Office to your families,
Wishing you all blessings during this joyous season! Merry Christmas, and we hope you have a wonderful time during the Christmas break. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for such an amazing turnout at the TBCS Christmas Program.
Tuition Statements have been sent home to all families with outstanding balances. These are being sent home for informational purposes only so that you can see where you are at with your tuition payments for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have any questions or concerns regarding them, please contact Emily @ emily@tbcs.school or 807-626-0748. Thanks!
Cold Weather: Just a reminder that the office checks the internet weather forecast before each break. A temperature of -20 to -27 Celsius with the wind chill is considered a penguin recess (children can go outside and come back inside if they are cold). Below -28 Celsius with the windchill is an indoor recess. Children are required to be outside for Recess, 20 minutes in the morning and 35 minutes in the afternoon with the exception of extreme cold weather as above. Parents, please send your children with weather appropriate clothing – snowsuit/jacket and snowpants, hat, mitts, and winter boots.

Chapel: This week in Chapel, we learned about trusting God. A trusting high schooler volunteered to sit in a chair under Mrs. Awosika while she poked holes with pencils through a water filled Ziplock bag right above his head to demonstrate trust! We recalled that God exists without anyone else creating Him or providing for Him. God has no limits and sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, for our sin, and for the restoration of our relationships with Him. The students agreed that we can trust God! We will continue to learn more about this truth with our Bible Study Buddies next week.
Volleyball: The kids are improving so much & the teams look great! Coaches will be announcing teams for the tournament soon. They have been reminded of academic & classroom behaviour requirements needed to attend the tournament Dec. 17 or 18.
If you have knee pads, they would be good to bring.
