Memo: Parent Meeting for Grade 11 and 12 Enrollment Planning
Dear Parents,
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are reaching out to families of students in grades 10 and 11 who are planning to enroll in Grade 11 or 12 for the 2025-2026 school year. To ensure we provide the best possible educational experience for your child, we would like to meet with you individually to discuss your child's academic and elective course preferences, as well as their post-graduation goals.
Meeting Details:
Dates: January 6 and 7, 2024
Purpose: To discuss elective course options, your child’s academic interests, and post-graduation plans. We would also like to hear your feedback on what has been going well in our high school program and any areas where you believe we could improve.
Format: Each meeting will be scheduled individually. During this meeting, we will also gather feedback on elective courses that you would like to see offered in the future.
Why This Meeting is Important:
As a small school, we are only able to offer a select number of electives each year, alongside the core curriculum. Your input on the courses your child is interested in, as well as what they hope to pursue after high school, will help us plan accordingly and ensure we are offering the right courses to support their success. We aim to offer one or two electives in addition to the core courses, based on student interest.
We also want to hear from you about your experiences with the high school so far. We are always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback will be invaluable in helping us enhance our school community and academic offerings.
