As parents of a child who is preparing to begin or continue his/her formal education in September of 2024, we invite you to consider Thunder Bay Christian School.
Our primary aim at TBCS consists of helping each student grow into becoming an independent person, so that they can serve God according to His word. Our dedicated staff encourage students to develop and grow all their abilities to serve and honour God. We are proud to weave Christ into all aspects of education and curriculum but as well into our day-to-day routines, attitudes, and expectations.
Thunder Bay Christian School offers a Christ-Centered program of learning to students enrolled in our Junior Kindergarten to Grade Ten classes. Our JK class is 2 days per week and SK 3 days per week. In addition, we have a successful program that provides the option for kindergarten students to attend 5 days per week.
TBCS is motivated to be a place where all children feel welcome and have a sense of belonging, no matter their level of ability. Our special education program has been one of our main focuses and we are excited to be building and improving this to better assess and assist students who will benefit from extra one on one, in class support or enrichment.
Each year we choose and build on a special school theme, this year it is "Jesus Face to Face." We are excited to build on what we learnt last year, celebrate this new theme and learn together as a school at our weekly chapel/assembly.
Our Mission and Vision sum up our efforts in class, when making decisions together as a staff but also for each committee and the board of directors.
Vision Thunder Bay Christian School is a community of believers saved by grace through faith who strive to instill in our students a passion for God's word and a desire to live in the world as image-bearers of Christ, stewards of His creation and Christ-honouring citizens.

To Register. Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the school and learn more about what TBCS can offer your children. If this works for you, please eamil admin@tbcs.school to set up a meeting. At the meeting we will go over the package and paperwork needed for registering your family. For registration forms please contact the office or they can be found at tbcs.school/admissions

Financial Aid/Tuition Assistance
There are a few options for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is available from our partners with The Christian School Foundation. Please contact the office for more information on the process. Please email requests to admin@tbcs.school.
