Booster Club: What is the booster club? The booster club is a fun committee of a few TBCS moms that take care of organizing and serving hot lunch 2 or 3 Fridays a month, providing field day and bazaar food and beverages, and as well keeping the gym kitchen in working order. Providing this service and being amid the hustle and bustle of a regular school day is a joy and treat to get to know the names and faces of so many staff and students. Meetings for this committee are generally held three to four times during the school year (not evenings). We are looking for a few new members to join us for next year, there is no need to commit to each hot lunch, we make it a group effort and share the responsibilities. We try to get helpers not on the committee to come out as well (bazaar is organized by the bazaar committee). Twice As Nice Thrift Store: In 1997, Twice as Nice thrift store was opened with the goal of helping offset the cost of tuition at Thunder Bay Christian School. In the first 20 years of operation, Twice as Nice has transferred over $1.5 million dollars towards reducing the cost of education for families. Currently, each family saves an estimated $2,500.00 in tuition costs because of the money raised.

Over 250 volunteer hours are required each week to keep Twice as Nice open and running smoothly as the store continues to grow. These volunteer hours come from both within the school membership as well as from many willing servants from the supporting community.
